Life After Life to go into production
 Director Tim Butler-Jones will be working with Still Moon Productions on his next short film, Life After Life.
The film is an existential drama about a broken man haunted by a tragic event from his childhood. After one of countless nights of debauchery and in a fit of depression he decides to end his life, whereupon he is escorted by a spirit guide to Auckland's Karangahape road: a Purgatory inhabited by both the dead and the living. He is instructed that he must pass the tests of atonement to pass on to Paradise, but will the lure of Club Inferno and its eternity of earthly pleasures and decadence prove too much of a temptation? Based on Dante's "Divine Comedy" Life After Life is a vivid description of a journey through Purgatory and Hell. |
